Your voice: it lingers
in my ears as though it was
permanently there.
I feel my pulse race
as the memories of us come
flooding back to me.

All those times where we
sat and talked about nothing
in particular, where
we muddled our way
through and knew so much
about each other.

We didn't even need
to say anything because we
fell in love, and
no one could stop us.
We would be as one
forever and always.

Our love only became
stronger as time passed us by,
day after day.
I could turn and
find you by my side, even if
you were miles away.

You've become a part
of me, of my being, my soul,
and without you,

My universe revolves
